Energy Analysis

Energy Analysis of a building's consumption with an energy diagnosis or energy audit

Energy analysis of the entire building and distribution system in order to determine the type and quantity of suitable appliances for proper allocation of consumption.
Graphs on heating, water, air conditioning and electrical energy consumption trends in order to monitor energy trends at the global level of the building or individual user. Consulting in the area of energy conservation.

Radio Data Acquisition System

In all fields of metering, we have types of devices that integrate into a radio system. These devices record measured consumption values in the middle of the month, at the end of the month, and at a freely programmable date. By means of an integrated emitter, the previously encoded data are transmitted by radio to a portable receiving station.

At the time of collection through a portable terminal, radio telegrams containing consumption values are transmitted to a PDA, and made directly available to the billing system.

Radio transmissions are not made permanently but at regular intervals in a fraction of a second. The emission intensity is 0.89 μW, which is more than 700 times less than that of a cell phone and 8 times less than that of a cordless phone. Wave emissions are therefore negligible and harmless.

Detection of Energy Consumption for Energy Analysis

The Gestical meter is an electronic device capable of detecting the heat delivered by the heating body to which it is attached by means of a special holder. Designed according to the UNI EN 834/94 standard, its technology allows measurements to be taken with extreme precision.

The data Gestical meter has an optical interface for programming the device, an operation by which each allocator is coded with data related to the technical characteristics of the heating body on which it is mounted. The parameters concern first of all the dimensions of the heater (height, length, depth), which are necessary to determine its radiant power. Another aspect is given by the type of manufacture of the radiator: depending on the material of composition (cast iron, steel, aluminum) and the form of construction (element, lamellar, bathroom fixture, plate, etc.) there may in fact be different heat transmission.

The allocator is also programmed so that at the closeing of the annual heating season, the consumption values recorded up to that date are stored in a special memory. Starting from that date, the display resets to zero and the allocator begins measuring consumption for the following heating season.

Energy Analysis Measurement Tools

Accounting fairly for energy costs means charging each user what they have actually consumed. Accounting for water and heating costs based on consumption therefore requires completely accurate metering.

This brochure will provide you with an overview of Gestical’s wide range of metering instruments designed to meet all kinds of application needs.
